Flight from St-Maarten to Anguilla A short trip in a small plane to enjoy beautiful sea views of both islands. Plane from Anguilla Air Service : Anguilla Air Services flies with a Britten Norman Islander, which is ideally suited for flights to the islands with short runways such as St. Barths and Saba. The Britten Norman Islander aircraft seats up to 9 passengers and cruises at a speed of 155 mph, making your trip both safe and comfortable. Powered by 2 Continental Motors TSI0-520VB, turbocharge, fuel injected, each rated ate 325 horse power. This aircraft has a wide oval cabin and is comparable in size to a small business Jet. The aircraft is versatile and is good for operation into the short runways in the Caribbean. The aircraft has a range of 875 NM and a crusing speed 213kts.
Runway 25 is in use !!! sneaking in front of the backtracking American Airlines 737-800 we have what i call the two small foot soldiers lol aka two Trans Anguilla Airways islanders departing back to back. Trans Anguilla Airways (TAA) is an air charter airline operating to and from Anguilla Wallblake Airport to points in the Caribbean. TAA operates scheduled flights between Anguilla and Sint Maarten. It offers private charters, shared charters, executive/corporate charters, sightseeing charters, inter-island charters, freight services, and air ambulance services connecting Anguilla to other islands in the Leeward Islands. TAA also offers sightseeing flights to neighboring islands.
As our plane soared over Anguilla, we were able to see Anguilla beaches from a whole different perspective. This video shows the birds eye view of Anguilla's Western End, which includes some of Anguilla's best beaches that celebs like Denzel Washington call home... Maunday's Bay, Shoal Bay West, Sherrick's Bay, Lower West End Point, Anguillita Island, and St. Martin.
The Texas Flying Legends were having an airshow in St. Barths. and stayed in Anguilla. The planes were coming back from St. Barths. and I was literally running around the airport to get a better view. Sorry for filming vertical (when you're in a rush, you're in a rush and a rookie mistake I made) but it is better than nothing. Also around 8:26 and onward, you can hear the difference in accents of people from neighbouring islands that came to Anguilla to see the planes. Thanks to the Texas Flying Legends and safe trip back home! Their website: http://www.texasflyinglegends.org/ Their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/TXFlyingLegends
We took Rainbow International Airline's short (1hr.) flight from San Juan Puerto Rico east to Anguilla on April 5, 2012. This video shows the low approach over the island and the landing. The aircraft is a Beech King Air - one of two aircraft owned by the small charter airline. Highly recommended.
As our plane soared over Anguilla, we were able to see Anguilla beaches from a whole different perspective. This video shows the birds eye view of Sandy Ground, one of Anguilla's two major boating hubs, which is also the center of carnival (see dancing video). It's a scenic sensation, this is the place for nightlife in Anguilla.
